Install Microsoft Windows Fonts in Ubuntu


At first, please install msttcorefonts, we could use the following command:
$ sudo apt install msttcorefonts

Enter your password, press enter, the Microsoft’s End user agreement wizard will appear. Click OK to continue (press Tab key to select and enter key to agree).
Apply changes:
$ sudo fc-cache -fv

You can also download the extra fonts here, then put it into /usr/share/fonts/truetype/:
$ tar xzfv fonts-for-ubuntu.tar.gz
$ sudo mv win-fonts /usr/share/fonts/truetype/
$ sudo chmod 777 -R /usr/share/fonts/truetype/win-fonts
